Attention Foodies! Chick-fil-A Has Opened in Cicero

If you've been hankering for a chicken sandwich, you're in the right place. The beloved yet slightly controversial fast food chain Chick-fil-A has officially come to Cicero. It has been no secret that the restaurant was coming here yet it wasn't until January when we found out their targeted opening day of February 22. It is a tradition at Chick-fil-A that the first 100 customers at a new restaurant recieve a free meal for a year. This incentive, as well as people's love for new food made opening day quite the spectacle.

"I think I'm going to wait a few weeks head over there. Looks a bit too busy to me." says John Sharp. If you love grabbing dinner on weekends, be warned. Chick-fil-A is not open on Sundays. This is due to the company's strong Southern Baptist influence. The company has come under fire for their religious stance in the past as well as their donations to organizations that oppose same sex marriage.
